One Conference is an opportunity for Canadian Church Leaders to gather to experience a spiritual refreshing, gain renewed focus, and be effectively equipped to lead the church of tomorrow.
The world has changed, and the church is changing with it. This gathering is designed to stimulate new ideas, provide fresh energy, and build conversations and relationships that will shape renewal and spiritual impact in Canada.
With wholehearted worship, powerful keynotes, and thoughtful breakout sessions, our goal and commitment to you is that you’ll leave One Conference with a renewed sense of optimism and courage to help lead the church forward.

Jason is a pastor and Spiritual Formation Coach who was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. He co-leads Lifecentre, a multi-campus church in Ottawa, with his wife of twenty-six years, Lori.
Beginning with three couples in 1981, Lifecentre has planted, launched, and revitalized many churches in its 40 years. The church now has three campuses across the Ottawa and Cornwall area, as well as a local Food Bank.
Pastor Jason’s vision is to equip you to make a Jesus-sized difference in life!
Mark is the senior leader of Red Church in Melbourne, Australia. Mark is also a skilled cultural analyst who is passionate about spiritual renewal and the future of the church. He has authored a number of books, including A Non-Anxious Presence and Reappearing Church, as well as co-founded the “This Cultural Moment” podcast.
Mark lives in Melbourne with his wife, Trudi, his daughter, Grace and twin boys, Hudson and Billy

Sharon Witton is the co-pastor of Toronto City Church with her husband, Brendan. Toronto City Church is an intercultural, intergenerational church with a passion to impact the city of Toronto and the nation of Canada.
Sharon is passionate about empowering women, raising the next generation of leaders and seeing believers grow in the prophetic. She sits on the board of an educational charity called “I am Compelled”, as well as the non-profit, “Culture Changers”, that focuses on tackling critical cultural issues that affect the church and the next generation.
She also serves in a number of organizations, including the Canadian Leaders Prophetic Network, Ministers Network Canada and is the Next Gen North American Regional Co-chair for Empowered 21.
Rob Hogendoorn is the founding and Lead Pastor of Forest City Community Church in London, Ontario. Beginning with a dozen people in the mid 90’s, Forest City Community Church has grown to be a multi-site church that has also helped birth new churches in Ontario and Quebec.
Rob’s passion is to help churches grow in their ability to engage pre-Christian people with the hope of the gospel!
Along with pastoring, he also serves on the GLN Canada board and is a partner with Alpha Canada.
Sarah is the Director of NextGen Ministries at Trinity Church in Kelowna BC. With leadership experience in large and multi-site churches, she has a deep desire for families to experience together a transformative relationship with Jesus. Her influence through speaking engagements, curriculum writing, and leadership coaching, continues to shape the next generation of ministry leadership across Canada. Sarah calls Kelowna home with her husband, Andrew and son, Emerson.
Craig Groeschel is senior pastor of Life.Church, an innovative church meeting in multiple U.S. locations and globally online. Crystal Lavallee is the Founder and National Director of I Am Compelled, a registered educational charity that is advancing Canadian history and inspiring students to be change-makers! In 2017, Crystal was asked by Crossroads and YES TV CEO, Lorna Dueck, to advance Indigenous stories.
Through both I Am Compelled and Crossroads, Crystal has traveled to over 30 Indigenous communities across Turtle Island (North America), telling over 100 stories. She has gained national, first-hand knowledge, from elders and leaders regarding the atrocities in our history and is compelled to bridge the gap in understanding Indigenous and non-Indigenous relations.
Crystal is of Metis-Greek descent and currently resides in the Niagara region in Ontario. She enjoys mushroom coffee, adventures and communicating the heart of God to others.
Domenic Ruso, Ph.D. is a pastor, author and leader who believes that this is the best time to learn and engage with the next generation. His passion for the church has led him to the church plant (the180.ca) in Montreal region where he grew up. It is in this emerging secular context that Dom constantly working through complex questions about faith, spirituality, truth and how those intersect with faith in Jesus and the Bible. He has a PhD in Church History & is passionate about teaching and preaching in that way that will help leaders and churches rethink their leadership paradigms for biblical engagement with our emerging Post-Christian context.
Henry Schorr has served as Senior Pastor at Centre Street Church for over 40 years, a church that has seen thousands of people come to faith in Christ during those years. Pastor Henry is passionate about prayer, evangelism, and challenging others from God’s Word about knowing God and living the way of Christ. Together with his wife Gwen, they have four married sons and 16 grandchildren.

Every church is wrestling with how to navigate the divisiveness that exists in our churches. While the current climate is calmer these days, we are just one tweet, one political decision, one racially inflammatory incident from blowing everything up again. This session will look at how Jesus taught about peace and provide practical discipleship tools for your church.

Building a Strong Marriage and Family Ministry
In a day when less and less people seem interested in church, more and more are hungering for real help and hope for their marriage and family. A thriving marriage is at the core of spiritual formation of the next generation of Christ followers. This workshop will present a framework for marriage and family ministry that will help church leaders invest in the next generation.

Supporting Mental Health in the Church
How does the church become a healing and helpful place in a time when the epidemic of mental health challenges surrounds us? Join the conversation here.
Led by – Dr. Tolu Solola, Congregational Care Pastor, FAC Calgary, Heather Brown, Grow Ministries Pastor, FAC Calgary, and Elizabeth Anderson, Mental Health Advocate.
In this cultural moment, where the church is reeling from sexual scandals, men and women are struggling to redefine working relationships. This session is designed for men and women to explore ways forward in our relationships and church culture, where men and women can use their gifts in a way that honours their calling.
